So we had a little rain yesterday - big deal... Ahmmm I have been in Taiwan during a typhoon, so what we saw yesterday was nothing compared to that experience..... Whops!!! Did I not say the same thing after the loads of water we received on August 14th last year??!!! Well we are not equipped to get 6 inches of rain within 3 hours - let alone the 5000 lightnings counted in the same period.... water seems to have seep in under my wooden kitchen floor (my appartment is at ground level - no steps up to my front door), so some of it needs replacement :o( The flagstones that used to be neatly placed in our courtyard between two buildings are now totally undermined and crooked.
Well before I discovered the damage inside and outside my appartment building, I had actually made this card for the challenge, inspired by the weather and a childhood photo of myself - maybe it is fond memories that makes me love the good old yellow rainjackets :o)
And guess what?? It just started raining again...... So perhaps Danny Kaye was singing "Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen"..... us locals now sing "Waterful, Waterful Copenhagen" :o)

Oh you poor thing.....hate to tell ya we are bakin' in far too much dry heat!
Stay safe and dry.....love the card...we call that hat a sou'wester....comes in very handy in wet 'n' windy Manchester!
Sad to hear about the damages there but your card is wonderful. Photo is a bonus that brings a smile to my face. Such a cutie! I always wanted a yellow rain slicker...
