Oh Yes - It Had To Be An Elephant

Creating a card for a crafty friend means one thing - well she did add to this elephant frenzy just before I actually started taking pictures of them - it has to include an elephant or two or.....

Ingredients of this card: iris folding - elephant shape - some ribbon that reminds me of Africa - teabag wraps - handmade paper for the background.

I was going nuts to which color the elephant had to have, until I remember the teabag wraps, from the tea that Claire sent to me - the elephants on parade in our city made me think out of the (tea)box. Initial thought was teabag folding, but no matter which folding pattern I tried to use, I would have messed up the elephants on the wraps. Then saw another project on my table - iris folding, and making it a big iris to show the lovely elephants.

I have found out, that if you want to make a really colourful iris folding card, then use colorful paper (look for the colors that might match you project) from magazines or, as in this case, some of the things that is right in front of you, like eg. teabag wraps :o)

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday
